Cleantech Commons announces Martin J. Yuill as Executive Director

Trent University and the City of Peterborough have appointed Martin J. Yuill as executive director of the Cleantech Commons research park.


Skating on the Canal

Trent Severn Waterway and the City Peterborough are pleased to offer public skating on the Canal below the Peterborough Lift Lock - weather-permitting. Ice conditions are monitored regularly and a flag indicates the status.  The flag is currently green - skating is permitted.


Peterborough Airport 50th Anniversary

Peterborough Airport will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an air show featuring the CF Snowbirds on September 21 and 22, 2019.

Snofest - Adult Art Mingle Drop into the Art Gallery of Peterborough for an Adult Art Mingle on January 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Includes a guided tour of the Gallery and an opportunity to go inside the AGP vault.
Snofest Extravaganza Downtown Youth Space will be hosting a Snofest Extravaganza on January 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the PCVS Auditorium. A free family friendly event.
Christmas tree curbside collection Christmas tree collection takes place throughout January, weather permitting.
Committee of Adjustment Meeting The Notice is Hereby given of the Committee of Adjustment meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall
Large Article Collection April 29, 2019 The City of Peterborough Waste Management Division will hold 6 large article collection events in 2019. The first collection takes place on Monday, April 29, 2019. Book online or in person at City Hall or the Public Works Office by Thursday, April 25, 2019.
